Job Title: Helicopter Flight Engineer (Mi-171)

Department: OPERATIONS

Reporting to: CHIEF PILOT ROTARY WING

Location: Within Indonesia

Principal Accountabilities:
    • Maintain assigned aircraft to the highest standards of serviceability and appearance
    • Ensure full compliance with CASRs, Company Maintenance Manual, and all company policies
    • Complete and certify all aircraft, maintenance, and company documentation accurately and in accordance with regulations
    • Assist the Captain and First Officer during aircraft operations, including checklist execution, emergency procedures, and instrument approaches as directed
    • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and rectify in-flight or remote-location aircraft equipment failures
    • Immediately report any aircraft discrepancies, documentation issues, hazards, incidents, or accidents
    • Adhere to company procedures for the control and use of spares, tools, and equipment in the field
Professional Requirements:
    • Graduated from Aviation - Technical School/ University
    • Holding ICAO Flight Engineer License and current type rating (Mi-171/ Mi-17/ Mi-8MTV)
    • Total flight time minimum: 1500 hours (with 500 hours on type)
    • Minimum 3 years as a helicopter flight engineer with 1 year of experience in jungle/ remote area, mountain, high density altitude
    • Preferably have extensive experience in external sling load operations, cargo preparation, and coordination with ground crews
    • Skilled in engine and systems monitoring, weight and balance, and performance calculations, including in hot and high operations
    • Hold at least a current 1st class Medical Certificate
    • English proficiency (ICAO Level 4)
    • No accident record
    • Good computer literate
    • Thorough knowledge of DGCA CASR
