Job Title: Timika (Papua) Base Superintendent

Department: OPERATIONS

Reporting to: OPERATIONS MANAGER

Location: Within Indonesia

Principal Accountabilities:
    • Oversee daily flight and base operations at Timika Base to ensure safe, smooth, and efficient operations.
    • Coordinate with customers, local authorities, and other stakeholders on operational matters.
    • Manage Base facilities, equipment, accommodation, and operational resources.
    • Supervise and coordinate personnel, rostering, training, and staff administration.
    • Coordinate with the Chief Pilot and Maintenance Supervisor/ Leader to ensure aircraft and crew availability.
    • Ensure compliance with Safety, SMS, K3, and company operational standards.
    • Support safety, incident, accident, and risk management activities and ensure timely reporting.
    • Prepare and submit required operational, administrative, financial, and safety reports.
    • Monitor and control base operational expenses.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the Company and/or client.
Professional Requirements:
    • D3/S1 degree or equivalent qualification in Aviation, Engineering, Management, or a related field.
    • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in aviation operations, preferably in a base management or supervisory position.
    • Experience in helicopter operations and/or remote-site aviation operations is highly preferred.
    • Strong understanding of flight operations, aviation safety, SMS, K3, and operational risk management.
    • Experience working with mining operations will be an advantage.
    • Strong leadership, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Able to work effectively in a remote and demanding operational environment.
    • Good command of English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and spoken.
    • Willing to undertake field tour assignments in Timika, Papua.
    • Applicable for Indonesian only
